The Cloverdale Unified School District headed back to class on Aug. 19, marking the first "regular" first day of school in two years. CUSD students will be attending class full time and in-person this year.

As Jefferson students walked up to campus, they found their friends, were welcomed by new principal James Evans and headed off to find their teachers.

Masked, with backpacks and lunches in tow, students were excited to line up and begin their first day of school back on campus.
