Cloverdale celebrated Veterans Day by returning to the Veterans Memorial Hall for its first musical Veterans Day service in two years. The Healdsburg Community Band performed for a full room of community members there honor local veterans.

During one song, the band invited veterans in attendance to stand as they played service marches for each branch of the armed forces.

Interspersed with the music was a history of the namesake of Cloverdale’s American Legion Post, William Russell Ledford.
