On July 1, the Pacific Coast Air Museum honored veterans at its early Independence Day celebration. Over a dozen World War II veterans attended, including three centenarians. Also honored were Korean War, Cold War era and Vietnam War veterans.

The event, which was a larger version of the air museum's monthly hot dog Thursday luncheon, included flyovers by numerous World War II-era airplanes.
