Cloverdale Police logs

The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is working on identifying a body found on Chalk Hill Road on April 20.

The female body was found in a creek bed near Leslie Road by a passerby. The remains were skeletal on discovery and Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Sgt. Spencer Crum said they believe the remains to be several months old due to the level of decomposition.

“Hospital style ID tag and heart monitoring pads were located within clothing. ID tag was sun faded and not legible,” according to the report in the national unidentified persons database.

The Sheriff’s Office has reached out to area hospitals but has not found any leads so far. They have been attempting to determine who left a hospital around that time that had used such medical equipment.

The body was of a woman approximately 4 feet, 11 inches tall, wearing a faux snakeskin belt, size seven shoes, jeans and two red-and-black jackets in addition to the medical equipment.

People who have information in regard to this case can call the Sheriff’s Office at 707-565-2511.
